Wells Art Contemporary
I am very pleased to report that I have had work accepted for WAC 2021 (Wells Art Contemporary 2021) which opens 28th August at Wells Cathedral. The exhibition coincides with the installation of a new Anthony Gormley that will be exhibited on the West Front of the Cathedral. The work I have had selected is a break from my usual subject matter and comes from a whole new series of work inspired by walking the fields close to home over the last few months. The exhibition is also available online please visit www.wellsartcontemporary.co.uk for further information.
Somerset Art Weeks 2021
I have been invited to exhibit a selection of skycapes at the Octogan Theatre, Yeovil as part of Somerset Arts Weeks (18th September - 6th October). For opening times please visit www.octagon-theatre.co.uk

Somerset Reacquainted
Somerset Art Works (SAW) has done a lot of additional work to support artists during the last 18 months, with regular zoom meetings and workshops. One initiative was ‘Somerset Reacquainted’ which has led to various artist led projects. I have enjoyed taking part, particularly as we’ve been encouraged to step away from our comfort zone and be more experimental. I will participating in the following exhibitions. Please visit www.somersetartworks.org.uk for more information about each of these exhibitions.
‘Re-imagining Nature’ 4 Aug – 11 September, Yeovil Art Space, Yeovil
‘Community’ 18 Sept – 24 Oct, 2021, Brewhouse Theatre and Art Centre, Taunton
‘Solace’ 20 October 2021 – 20 January 2022, Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton
Head in the Clouds
Some of you may remember the exhibition of graphite on tracing paper I did in 2019. I have been planning another version of this for sometime. I am currently working on an application to Arts Council England to hold 2 exhibitions in 2022. This is an involved process and by no means guaranteed but it is good to working towards this after having to put it on hold for so long.
